>Personally, I think that this whole XBox thing is just another>misinformed rumor, but if its not then the marketing manager>at Microsoft who thought of it had better think about looking>for another job when FS for XBOX goes the way of Microsoft>Train Simulator which didn't even make it to the second>version.Actually... if this "rumor" was started by the Microsoft marketing manager,........ he should get a raise. If it WAS started by him/her... it is a BRILLIANT ploy to get attention and demand up for the upcoming release of FS10 which is actually goiong to be for the PC platform. FS2004 sales lagged a bit. Gotta' do better for the new one. What better way to make a product more "enticing" than to make people worry that they won't be able to GET it? Brilliant! If it is NOT released on the XBox platform after the "rumor" ... no big deal ....... since the vast majority of the XBox crowd probably do not read boards like this one. And if it IS released ALSO in an XBox version....... all the better.Microsoft has a bunch of people selected to participate in a study of how they use fs2004.... for the developers of fs10. That is public knowledge... and probably a number of people reading this are ON that study team. I don;t think unless something has been announced drirectly by Microsoft on their FS website that anyone has any "real" information on this subject........ and everyone is likely getting in a "tizzy" over nothing.Brilliant marketing campaign!best,..............john

Everyone's commenting on the issue of software add-ones, but what about connecting hardware peripherals? How's one going to connect a Go-Flight module, or a home-made 4-throttle quadrant? How's it going to output data to my realistic radio stack's LED displays ?Richard

Just another thought: I'm currently running FS9 on my dell 24-incher, which is a pretty amazing sight, but imagine hooking up FS9 with x-box to your living-room/den 50inch plasma! Now that would be something to impress the neighbours with...
