The right-side EHSI and EFIS are required in the real aircraft because they're the 2nd of each type of instrument. Primary and a backup. May be a single pilot aircraft, but instrument backup is still required.

I'd like to put it where the Wx radar is - and just put the main screen in that window.  We'd still have to use the popup to use the gauge.

We did that already. Pics in another thread near here.

 

The GTN650 seems to work a little better than the 750 inside the glass. Popup would be another factor - I like the GTN750 for the larger size and the charts and maps.

I believe a Citation is coming my way shortly, and after arrival, I'd like to take another crack at the GTN750 in the MFD spot.

 

From the pictures I have seen, it might be possible to move the screen up, so that the radio information is hidden (since there are Collins radios in the panel) and that might make the 750 more viable.

 

Still hoping that Carenado will provide a proper integration option, of course..
