Yes Steve I had FSX installed, but just for the 777.

I always use P3D except for when using the 777.

 

I removed FSX before installing steam.

Absolutely, super confusing Pedro. Not only that, the FSX appears some time after FSX ES.

I would like PMDG designs and hit the market with a FSX style flight simulator, of course 64 bit. Won't be good?

I think PMDG has make a miracle just by figuring out ,some how, to run the 777 in FSX ES......is a shame that a such of wonderful product (PMDG)  that we all enjoy so much has to deal with a such incomplete platform.....nothing, everything points to Prepar3D....so I am getting my CC ready to get it as soon it comes out

ahh I forgot..there is NOT WAY I can use the OC to download livery..I have a clean install of steam two times and everything else...I am just tired man...

However my congrats to PMDG u guys have prove one more time respect and dedication to you customers

I am have a clean Steam install on Windows 8.1 that's not even supported and everything works flawelessly. The livery manager, the plane, the installer...

 

It's not an "incomplete platform"'. The challenge for PMDG was creating a unique installer that detects if you hace FSX, FSX:SE or both on your system.

 

If they just released an FS:SE only installer, it would have have worked a while back.

We don't distribute on Steam.

 

If you'd read the announcement carefully you would've seen this, instead:

 

 

Now here is where there is a change you should pay attention to!  In the past we have created update installers that were around 130MB or so- and you simply downloaded these in order to update your installation.  This time, because of the changes we had to make to our installation process in order to account for FSX:SE- you will need to download the entire installer, fresh from our system...  There is no "patch" installer for either the PMDG 777-200LR/F or the PMDG 777-300ER.

I have the Aerosoft version of the PMDG-777LR/F base package on DVD. The 777 300 update i have direct from you guys.

I can get the installer for the 300 update direct from my account but not the base package.

I know right!?! An update to the NGX is bigger news to me than the release of the T7, the NGX is amazing and to make it better is the best thing ever, I have 1000+ hours on the thing.

Same :-). I will buy the T7 as support ( after NGX upgrade), don't have enough time for long haul.
