January 25, 201511 yr Hi, I had sent an email to Milviz about a week ago, but didn't received an answer yet, so I'll ask here again. I'm considering to buy the KA 350i for P3D V2.x, but I read on the web site P3D is not supported (yet?). I would like to know if that is temporarily and P3D V2 will be fully supported when it officially has been released some time in the future, or will it not be supported at all? (like: it may run on P3D, but we don't provide any support) Egbert Drenth EDIT: Never mind my question. I read now on the web site P3D will be/is supported. It seems like the web site content/design has been changed since my last visit, or I must have been very dim ^_^ Location: Vleuten, The Netherlands, 17.3dme SPL 108.40 | Simulator: FS2024 System: AMD 7800X3D - Gigabyte X670 - RTX 4090 - 64GB DDR5 - 2 x 2TB SSD - 32" 1440p Display - Windows 11 Pro
January 25, 201511 yr The P3D2 version of the product is a true P3D2 version, not an FSX-build that might or might not work in P3D2. The question is about to what extend there will be support on the forums for all P3D users, since it'll cost more to run support for 2 platforms, which would raise prices of the products, far as I understand. The current alpha are already two separate, dedicated versions, one for FSX/P3D and one for P3D2. I pre-ordered this aircraft and it is still a work in progress, but it looks very promising. This is going to be a beautiful aircraft with very detailed systems. Cheers! Maarten
January 25, 201511 yr Commercial Member For some, the P3Dv2 version is having some trouble. We're not sure where the problem is coming from but we are working to fix it. It will be, on release, working on 99% of systems. Please contact oisin at milviz dot com for forum registration information. Please provide proof of purchase if you want support. January 26, 201511 yr So far, it works great on my system and I use P3D exclusively. It's worth purchasing, even in the alpha stage. January 26, 201511 yr Commercial Member Some people are getting no PFD/MFD's. I am pretty sure it's due to some kind of antivirals but... we're working on it. January 27, 201511 yr Some people are getting no PFD/MFD's. I am pretty sure it's due to some kind of antivirals but... we're working on it. I know this is just a shot in the dark and youve probably thought of this but could it be the same problem Majestic had with the Q400, had to have mipmap VC panels disabled in view and panels setting in P3d v2 to get the PFD/MFD's to work. January 27, 201511 yr Moderator I just tried that. Set Mipmap VC in P3Dv2.4 and loaded the KA350i. No change noted, as the PFD, MFD, RTU and Standby HSI all work just fine... Fr. Bill AOPA Member: 07141481 AARP Member: 3209010556 Avsim Board of Directors | Avsim Forums Moderator
January 27, 201511 yr Not everyone has the problem with mipmaps , so if it wasn't broken for you enabling it may not show the problem for you. But turning it off does indeed fix it on some peoples systems. On the milviz 737 for example if it turn on mipmap vc the wx radar screen dissapears and you can see wires etc in there lol. January 28, 201511 yr Commercial Member I think if it works already, disabling might do nothing. Please contact oisin at milviz dot com for forum registration information. Please provide proof of purchase if you want support. Also, include the username you wish to have.
