February 4, 201511 yr I was landing at LHR with the 777-300ER the other day, and when I was locked and coming down the glideslope, at about 1000ft, the terrain alarm screamed all the way until I touched down on 27R, despite I was in full landing configuration (flaps 30, gear down, autobrakes 1) scenery : UK2000 London extreme I would be grateful for a reply. February 4, 201511 yr Author Well it did happen to me and I am just desperate to find a solution to fix a little flaw in an otherwise perfect aircraft. P.S. Did you use the PMDG 777? Kingston Chiu
February 4, 201511 yr For info - I am a regular user of UK2000 EGLL and have not had this occur. Same here, same aircraft, same Rwy. There are no hills on that glideslope to trigger terrain alarms. Rick Almeida
February 4, 201511 yr Author yeah, but why the warning triggered? yeah, but why the warning triggered? yeah but then why it sounded? Kingston Chiu

February 4, 201511 yr Author oh, I meant that the way a T7 should be configured into to land btw is there a reasom why I should sign my post? Kingston Chiu
February 4, 201511 yr Commercial Member btw is there a reasom why I should sign my post? Yes. This: http://forum.avsim.net/topic/458101-signing-posts-in-this-forum-an-overview-for-enforcement/ Kyle Rodgers
February 4, 201511 yr Commercial Member oh I apologize No worries. Thanks for making the correction. I would like to ask what is the landing config for a T7? You should be at either Flaps 25 or 30. Flaps 20 is only used in non-normal situations (engine out), and the crew would use the GPWS FLAP OVERRIDE switch to tell the plane that this action (landing with Flap 20) is intentional. The switch is located above the gear handle and labeled FLAP OVRD. Kyle Rodgers
February 4, 201511 yr Author yes but I am landing in full landing configuration as mentioned above It is also happening at every airport I think the plane is not recognizing the aircraft is in landing config Kingston Chiu

Every post. Have you set a route in the FMC? Origin and destination? Kyle Rodgers
February 4, 201511 yr Author it kept warning terrain terrain pull up NOT too low terrain and NEVER too low gear OR too low flaps yes I did programme the FMC correctly, including the VREF Kingson Chu Kingston Chiu
