March 6, 201511 yr Hi guys I tried installing linda 2.6.0 yesturday and i followed the instructions but when i open linda, it freezes and crashes :/ what do i do? Pmans
March 6, 201511 yr Hi Pmans Sorry to hear that you are experiencing problems and thank you for the extra details. However, I do need more information. What version of Windows are you using and which simulator (FSX, FSX-SE or P3D)? Have you installed LINDA before? What devices do you have attached (ie. joysticks)? How long did you wait before determining that LINDA 2.6.0 had crashed. There is a note to say that for some users with Win 8.1 that LINDA can take 60-90 secs to start. And before you ask, I do not yet know the reason. If your problem persists, I would ask you to try LINDA 2.5.7 which is downloadable from the bottom of the 2.6.0 post. March 6, 201511 yr Author Hi Scott I am using windows 7 64bit and FSX yes i have installed linda (V.1.13) Saitek pro flight yoke, 2 throttles, switch panel and multi panel when i go in the program it shows only some of the program and just freezes after :/ Pmans
March 7, 201511 yr I had the same problem. Every time I loaded FSX after installing LINDA 2.6.0, FSX crashed immediately after loading. I removed 2.6.0 and re-installed 2.5.7. I ran 2.5.7 to make sure everything worked properly, which it did. On a whim, I re-installed 2.6.0 and LINDA is working perfectly. I currently am using 2.6.0 with no problems. I don't know what I did to fix my 2.6.0 problem, but I'm glad I did. You might try following the same steps I did. Well, never mind. 2.6.0 has started crashing FSX again. I have reverted to 2.5.7 and everything is ok. I am now constrained on my available time due to 'real world' work and life. None of these issues show up on my 2 systems under FSX, FSX-SE or P3D. Dennis, when you say LINDA is crashing FSX, is this shown in the crash report? Can you send me the linda2.log at [email protected]. As I have been unable to Saitek code myself, could I ask you to disconnect the Radio and Multi Panels and retest 2.6.0? All users There is obviously an underlying issue for some users which I would like to investigate subject to my available time. Telling me that it 'crashed' or 'same' is not very helpful. I need more information as Dennis supplied. March 7, 201511 yr Hi IFR7700 Thank you for the crash log. In future please email to [email protected]. Yes, this version of LINDA 2.6.0 replaces SPAD. March 7, 201511 yr Hi Andrew, don't worry about those issues. It seems, no one of those users where Beta-testers. I only count 5 guys replying in the beta test, not very much for a complete test. With kind regardsRoland PohlVice chairman FSC e.V.

March 7, 201511 yr Hi David Is this crash happening in mid flight or when you close FSX? I ask because the HID unplug detected actions happens when LINDA Is shutting down correctly. March 7, 201511 yr Linda 2.6 stops responding almost immediately (blank space). Hi Ike Thank you for the report. Is the blank just the LINDA window and how long did you leave it before closing/intervening? There are reports that it can stop responding for 60-90 secs. Can you confirm your logitech joystick has the vid 046D/ pid C215?
