Brilliant, Official KLM videos showing all stages of flight in the 737 NG

Hi all,

I've been checking out KLM a lot recently (due mainly to the fact that I love their livery. That blue!)

They seem to be very 'new media' friendly also (and I've joined the official KLM approved VA (royaldutchvirtual.com))

I've just finished watching this video just now which is part of their sister-site 'jetstream tv'

http://www.jetstreamtv.net/london-calling-737ng-to-lhr/2/

This particular video deals with the preflight and taxi and you see the full CDU preflight and statup procedure together with checklists, it really is extremely informative to a newbie like me.

Just thought I'd share it as it may help some people out.

I wish more airlines did this!

Yeah - it is pretty nice. Then again, I firmly believe the person who made their newest version is obsessed with, and took their inspiration from killer whales.

Thank's for the link, this is better then pilotseye.tv and there are other flight  from AMS to JFK in a 777 and for the final a 747 from AMS to SXM .

Kind of commercial for PMDG LoL

Are they any chance, that KLM VA will open a cargo department, can you check?

Thank you

Yeah there are Cargo flights available (777/747) but the VA works on a 'current position' theme. You can only take a flight from your current airport (when you join you start at eham) I'm seeing a lot of Cargo flights from Paris, so fly there in the 737, then fly a cargo route in the 77F. The schedules are bang up to date with the real KLM schedules and the website and ACARS are probably the slickest I've seen for a VA.

Thanks for sharing.

Great set of videos!

Had a lot going on in one complete (gate to gate) short flight.

Wx radar ..short Wx  HDG divert with a hold on the very edge of a cell ... busy cockpit ..and autoland.

What an amazing set of cockpit films - the best I've ever seen to be honest.  I read this thread last night and ended up spending 2+ hours watching all 3 films (738 to LHR, 772 to SXM, and the 747 to JFK.  All are the most comprehensive cockpit films I've seen (and I own 30+ Just Planes DVDs and all the ITVV series!).

Great find!

Wow will be checking this page frequently for updates.
