April 10, 201511 yr Yes, you need to click on the email to to get account approval. It's the same thing. We seem to be trying hard to agree  As you can see below, dan777 says "I think they just way too slow to respond & activate new accounts", my point was simply that they do not activate accounts and simply send you an approval email, you have to activate the account yourself. There is no approval email. A simple approval email would not require further action, you did not allude to clicking on links or taking further action so I thought it relavent to point this out. yes did register, I think they just way too slow to respond & activate new accounts Dan i7 7700k, @ 4.6Ghz. April 10, 201511 yr But our problem is how do we register when after we enter all of our information, we are greeted with the "Oops, you are not permitted here" message? I for one would at least like someone from Orbx to explain how I am not permitted to access forums for something that I have spent my hard earned money on. I have sent 3 emails to the board administration, with proof of purchase, and have not received any reply. I fail to see this as acceptable. Matt Bernard20+ Years Commercial/GA A&P/PLST
April 11, 201511 yr I run IP Board aswell so I can but assume that all of the following happened in your case; You filled in all your information as you said. You recieved an email with a link to complete your registration and you clicked on that link. Check spam if you didn't recieve it. You then attempted to login using the login form. Most of this essentially happens automatically, the system itself handles this without human intervention other than your own so I'm surprised it ddn't work and can only suggest that you try again. It is also possible that your IP was in the past used to send spam and has become blacklisted. This can happen before you get assigned that particular IP but a google search for the IP should turn up evidence of this if indeed there is any. i7 7700k, @ 4.6Ghz. GTX1070 8Gig. 32Gigs DDR4 2400. April 11, 201511 yr In my case I never even got as far as getting the email. I filled out all the information, and when I hit the submit button I am given the denied access message. I am never even sent the email to confirm. My chief complaint is the lack of any response from Orbx, or their board admin, on trying to resolve the problem. It makes me question future purchases of their products. Which is sad because I really like their products and want to purchase many more. Matt Bernard20+ Years Commercial/GA A&P/PLST
April 11, 201511 yr Author The email you actually get requires an action of you, in that you must click on a link to verify your email address. Without this action your registration is not complete. Been there, done that! Got a mail, clicked ot the link to finish regsitering, it told me that the account registration is done, just waiting for the admin to approve. Nothing happened, a few days later I couldn´t log in, account deleted. Btw. whan I was logged in, I couldn´t see any board at all. Best regards, Steffen Fight time: NGX 737-700: 37,0h; -800: 47,2h

I can only think that your IP could be blacklisted, try restarting your router to get a different IP. Your current one could have been assigned to a spammer in the past, beyond that I'm stumped I'm afraid, sorry. Been there, done that! Nowthing happened, a few days later I coudln´t log in, account deleted. Btw. whan I was logged in, I couldn´t see any board at all. The board can be set to require admin approval but I can't see why they would as the software is pretty good at catching spammers or 10 minute mail addresses and it would add to someones workload, especially as they probably get a fair few users everyday and reviewing the details seldom tells you anything really. So I'm afraid I'm of no help to you either. Sorry. i7 7700k, @ 4.6Ghz. GTX1070 8Gig. 32Gigs DDR4 2400. Win 10 pro. X-Plane 11.
April 11, 201511 yr Well, then I guess I´ll tr it again. It was just for support on some sceneries I have bought as boxed from Aerosoft (They had some 5€ for each sale once). Now as I´m changing to P3D, I need the P3D variants of them Someone told me that I should contact Orbx about that. Here's from the Orbx forums concerning DVDs bought from other online stores: "So FSS will charge a very low AU$3.95 service processing and administration fee to have your original non-FSS purchased DVD validated via order numbers and a photo of the physical DVD with date evidence."
