Must have add-ons for P3D 2.5?

Featured Replies

Try the wonderful FSIPanel for repeated approach training.

Does it work in P3D 2.5??

Thinking about buying it but was waiting for an updated version since their homepage states nothing specific on this...

Thanks for the suggestions. Do you guys know if Rex Essentials+Overdrive is needed anymore if we already have REX4 Texture Direct+Soft Clouds?

Confused between these products. Trying to get rid of what I don't need to clean up my system a bit.

Also I'd like to add some more must have addons for P3D

No, it's not. Texture Direct + Soft Clouds is basically all you need. It is the latest product.

oh and I am on the monetary fence on FSCommander, because I believe, it's the only SIDS & STARS flight planner that gives you a graphical representation of the SIDS & STARS to select the one you want without having to look up each departure and approach plate...., although the Aivlasoft's WILL SUGGEST the right SIDS & STARS based on real weather and Rwy preference...Navigraph coupling, I believe.

FYI: Pro/ATC X shows you SIDS and STARS on the map as part of its flight planner....and it also is a great atc addon. I used to use FSC a bunch, but I think it's a bit long in the tooth...the map should be zoomable with the wheel mouse...

I now use a combination of pro/atc X moving map and Plan-G...

Cheers,

Jonathan

On the other hand, well-done photoscenery including night lighting + autogen is hard to beat in terms of visual quality. Earthsimulations had this. And went out of business.

Any idea how to purchase Earthsimulations scenery now? Has is vanished in to the ether, never to be purchased again?

I'm guessing they don't have rights to distribute as freeware...

Just watched a couple of videos and read some of the documentation, and I don't see any voice recognition ala VOXATC.

Am I wrong?

Thanks,

Chas
