May 3, 201511 yr I have FS2Crew installed on FSX-SE with the NGX and it works with the following exceptions. 1) Startup message that it has not initialized properly is played. 2) Everything else seems work well except on some checklist items the FO says "Are you sure about that" or "Better check that" even though the item is set correctly. He also says we are not configured properly for engine start. Anyone else having these issues? have you been able to fix? Now I know the reboot is in the works but I am trying to get it working now. thanks, Mark CYYZ
May 4, 201511 yr Commercial Member Hi Mark, You've got the SDK Warning message by the sounds of it, which means the FO can't "see" very much. Make sure that "Enable SDK" line is on the PMDG Options ini.. I suspect that's the problem. Read this: http://www.support.fs2crew.com/help/manuals/#pageid=pmdg_737_ngx4 Also, while FS2Crew NGX will work in Steam and P3D, we technically don't officially support it. That's coming with NGX Reboot, which is brand new product. B. York FS2Crew Web Site / FS2Crew Facebook Page / FS2Crew Discord
May 4, 201511 yr Author OK I added the following to the 737 and 777 options.ini file [sDK] EnableDataBroadcast=1 Mark CYYZ
May 5, 201511 yr Commercial Member And did the SDK Warning message go away? B. York FS2Crew Web Site / FS2Crew Facebook Page / FS2Crew Discord
May 7, 201511 yr Incidentally, I am running FS2Crew 737NGX with voice in FSX SE, so far with no problems. So I think it should be okay. -= Gary Barth =-
June 7, 201511 yr Author SDK Warning flashes on then goes away. The FO seems to perform a better job but for some reason does not respond to any voice commands. I can see the voice command in the green line so I know the voice recognition is working but the FO does not do anything. Mark CYYZ
June 7, 201511 yr Commercial Member If you get the SDK message, nothing will work properly. FS2Crew can send messages to the 737... BUT... it cannot read any data out of the 737. Here's how to fix the SDK message. The solution will be one of these... normally it's people using saved start files... http://www.support.fs2crew.com/help/manuals/#pageid=pmdg_737_ngx4 B. June 7, 201511 yr Author Thanks Bryan. I normally startup directly by selecting PMDG from the menu and then I load the PMDG panel state (C&D, Short turn or Long turn). Mark. Mark CYYZ
June 7, 201511 yr I had these problems after upgrading the SP1d for the NGX. They where all resolved by re-installing FS2Crew though Chris Smith
