Confused about the updates with PMDG OS

Featured Replies

Hi,

PMDG ops center is constantly reminding me that I need the updates. I have a feeling that it's merely software glitch and my product is up to date.

My version is 549849 - 011 (U10.8A).

Please confirm that it's the most recent one.

Thanks

Depends which sim you are using. Mine is for Prepar3D and the current version is 6461, and is up-to-date. If you are being reminded to update, then do that.

Look at the version number in the OC. If it says update, you should update. If you're sure you've run the latest installer, it might not have properly updated if you didn't uninstall/reinstall.

That is the simulated version for the FMS software.... got nothing to do with NGX version.  Follow Kyle's advice.

Thanks.

Do I really have to reinstall the previous versions? I have literally tons of liveries, so it's going to be a serious trouble for me to sort things out later.

Dmitriy T.

The liveries should still be there.  Open OC and close it before removing NGX so you know OC has latest information in it's cache.  Then after installing new NGX run OC before FSX and it will give you an opportunity to repair liveries.  Do that and all is back to normal.

Thank you, Dan.

Does the same procedure refer to P3D 2.5 as well? I don't have FSX.

Thank you

The OC is its own program. What goes for our FSX product, goes for P3D, FSX:SE, X-Plane, or Care Bear Sim v2.
