ASN for P3D V2.5

Recommended Posts

Hello!

I just bought my prepar3d pro licence, and I am slowly getting my FSX addons over to P3D. Though I have encountered a problem with active sky next for P3D. When I start up P3D after starting ASN, it tells me it is incompatible with my P3D version. It says it's designed for P3D 2.5.12942 to 2.5.12945. How can I check which version of P3D I am currently running, and when is ASN going to be compatible with this version of P3D?

Thanks for answers! :-)

If you have just purchased then it will be ver 2.5 12946. I use ASN beta sp3 ver B5689, had no problems running the Beta version.

just check the download file from LM to be sure.

I've stayed with B5589 and not gone with the beta because I'm working on other things, and ASN works very well for me in P3D. Only change I made was adding REX Soft Clouds, very inexpensive with nice looking clouds.

Are you sure you're not trying to use your FSX version in P3D? Currently the P3D version of ASN is compatible with the latest P3D without issue.

Thanks for your help guys! I'm going to try and download the newest beta version.

vgbaron; No, I downloaded a ASN for P3D. I have it for FSX too, but the FSX one has a blue splash screen, P3D version has a grey splash screen.

When you start ASN and the welcome Window pops up it should say :- 'Active Sky next for Prepare3D/Command Center' at the top.

You can try these settings , suggested by 'Kuragiman ' in a recent post:-

Min & max cloud draw distance 83m

Min surface visibility 0

max surface visibility 50m

max upper visibility 85m

3 layers of cloud
