I also can't locate the terrain.,cfg.

It is located in  C:/ProgramData/Lockheed Martin/Prepar3Dv2  folder.

Stupidly expensive rig, nonplussed Memsahib, disinterested offspring and a fascinated cat as Rio.  XP11, P3Dv3 and an Oculus Rift.

After spending countless hours troubleshooting this blurry problem and getting nowhere, I decided to give the Majestic Q400 a try and see what happens.  Guess what, no **#@ blurries at all     :fool: , and FPS are back to normal.. What led me to try a different aircraft was  a couple of screen shots on one of the P3D facebook forums with someone having the exact same situation with sudden blurries on approach and the pilot was flying the Aerosoft Airbus in the screenshot.  The Airbus is staying in the hangar until 3.0 is released.

Hmmmm ... so you believe it's just the Aerosoft Airbus A3xx series (all variants)?  I've got the A3xx series also with the several SP's applied ... take a look in the Aerosoft Airbus configuration app ... do you have AirbusXConnect and Force ECAM software rendering unchecked?

And finally, are you using ASN?  As I understand it the Airbus will use ASN data but there have been issues with it's usage specifically the blurries based on specific versions of ASN ... but you might want to check Aerosoft forums for more details.

Cheers, Rob.

Yes, I have Ecam software rendering unchecked. Never used xConnect.  . What was strange, is if I limited FPS in P3d to 30, which I had in the beginning, while I was getting about 30 FPS in unlimited, and soon as I limited it, they immediately  dropped to around 17. It had never done that before. I do use ASN, the latest version with the latest patches.  and have since the beginning, and never had any issue until about 2 weeks ago. There are two other people on Facebook that are having a similar problem with the blurries with screen shots from inside an Airbus.  I am so glad that I didn't waste my time reinstalling P3D. The texture loads now are very  crisp, like they were before, and I don't see things "popping up" as I fly, like the old FS9 days. Anyway, the plus side to all this is I realize how much more intensive flying the Q400 is, after a couple of months away from it. You have to watch that aircraft all the time or ugly things happen...

I to believe is the aerosoft airbus thanks Bob For posting this. I found it strange that with PMDG777 no blurry textures, then when flying the A320 blurry textures. What could this mean?

I can't even begin to tell you how PO'd I am over this.  I was ready to reinstall P3D and even my OS, which would have involved days of work. It was my fault, for not eliminating the aircraft in the beginning. The light went on when I saw a photo on Facebook 2 days ago with someone else experiencing the same thing, and when I looked at the photo I realized it was another Airbus.  Next flight, I used the Q400 and haven't seen a blurry since. I have flown about 7 hours today and 5 yesterday, and P3D looks fantastic.

My best guess is that either some gauge or the textures are overloading the system. Following the post at the top of this forum, backup the a/c and try reducing the size of the textures and see if it has any effect.

Obviously you might also want to post in the Aerosoft forum.

There is something going on with the A320. I was about to check the Force ECAM software rendering to see what would happen if i enable it, but when i saw your setting similar to mine i decided to leave them as it is.

To be quite honest, I enjoy flying the Airbus, but I have zero interest in trying to troubleshoot the problem that I was having with it. I'll just wait for  P3D 3.0 , and try flying it again. If it still causes problems then, it will go in the Recycle bin.....
