Is there an update available for P3D v3 installation? PMDG installer has been updated already.

The P3D V3 version is build into the Version 1.6 update.

 

We're just testing it now.

The Reboot V1.1 update with P3D V3 support is finished.  We'll release it shortly.

 

Today we released a 777 Update (V1.6) and a RAAS update with P3D V3 installer.

 

We're staggering our update releases so we don't overload the servers.

Not today.  I just released the RAAS and 777 Update.

 

Releasing a slew of updates at the same time is hard on the servers, and potentially hard on support if there are issues.

 

So we stagger our releases.

The program itself will tell you when an update is available.

 

And the updates are built into the Main Installer only.  There's no stand-alone update.

 

You have to login to your account and download the main installer again.

A good read. This explains why I cannot get the reboot editionclick to work on my brand-new P3D v3 installation. I keep mashing the auto feather arm command, but nothing happens.

 

The crazy thing is that the installer seems to work partially since it managed to update the correct panel config files.

With P3D V3, I can't use the same gauge file paths you see in the panel.cfg.

 

The system changed unfortunately.

 

Please re-install the 737 ngx, and manually delete the left over PMDG 737 Simobject folder.

 

Then re-install.

 

By trying to install the non-P3D V3 version of FS2Crew into P3D V3, you messed up the panel.cfg file, and that will create problems when you try to update to the official P3D V3 version.

 

You'll want a "clean" panel.cfg.
