November 6, 201510 yr For those who find the colors too bland without P3D HDR enabled and have an Nvidia card - did you set 'Output Dynamic Range' to 'Full' in Nvidia Control Panel/Display/Change Resolution? This is a fairly important point...thanks for reminding us
November 6, 201510 yr Thank you very much! Works great, and I prefer to use this parameter with HDR enabled! Indeed HDR enabled and this one in the p3d cfg file for the P3D nights and days ;-) TONEMAP_DAY_EXPOSURE_KEY=0.280000 TONEMAP_NIGHT_EXPOSURE_KEY=0.100000 André
November 6, 201510 yr Anybody else notice colour-banding with "Output Dynamic Range" set to full at night? My clouds and other dark areas look like 8-bit at night when turning this on. During the day and in brighter areas everything looks fine. When I turn the feature off all looks normal without colour-banding. No matter if HDR is turned on or off, it doesn't make a difference. I have to significantly reduce brightness on my screen when using this feature and flying at night to hide the colour-banding...

March 26, 201610 yr For those who find the colors too bland without P3D HDR enabled and have an Nvidia card - did you set 'Output Dynamic Range' to 'Full' in Nvidia Control Panel/Display/Change Resolution? I don't see this in nVidia Control Panel. I am on 353.82. I use VGA connector. 10700k / Gigabyte 3060
