FSUIPC reverse elev trim?

Featured Replies

I assigned all controls thru FSUIPC, works fine.

But FSUIPC deosnt recognize the Cessna trim wheel in the calibration option, and I need to reverse it.

just check that the trim wheel is not assigned in any of your controls in p3d, in fsuipc4 it can take quite a few spins before being recognized.

I've always had trouble with Cessna trim wheel, through FSUIPC. It should work, but it's jerky.

I normally assign all my axes through FSUIPC, except for the trim wheel and for the trim wheel I use the P3D native assignment.

Cheers!

Demious.. I too have some problems with the elevator trim.  How do you have the trim wheel use P3D settings when controllers are disabled for FSUIPC?  Do I just delete the assignment for it in FSUIPC?  I wonder this because ironically when I first tried version 3 withe the P3D controllers I actually found the response from the Cessna trim wheel to be quite smooth.

FSUIPC is not assigned by default, so to start with there's no connection with FSUIPC.

I delete all Axes Assignments in P3D axes control menu, except the one for the trim wheel. Then I assign all axes to FSUIPC, except the trim wheel.

But if you got your trim wheel already deleted in P3D and assigned in FSUIPC, just go to the FSUIPC axes page, move the trim wheel, so its assignment comes up and press 'clear' (top left) and it should be removed from FSUIPC. Then go to the P3D axes control page, set the drop-down menu to trim wheel and assign the one axis you have to the elevator trim.

Cheers!

Super..thanx.

  • 3 months later...

I am using the FSUIPC for my elevator trim but I am having a huge issue if I use the trim to go up it is ok but if I trim to go down it will go straight to the lowest category and the plan will dive straight to the ground

I did remove it from there and used only the prepr3d controllers for the sim I have the same issue . Disabled the controllers in prepar3d and activate again in FSUIPC and agin it drops only when I use down to the lowest straight, in my x-plane using the same Cessna it is working perfect . The Cessna I am using from A2A , anyone can help me by sending any new configuration I need to use or any idea .

Thanks
