August 21, 200520 yr FYI - FLY-TAMPA has released KSEA.I'd say it looks fantastic so far. On my system (x64, Fx-57, GTX7800) no real noticable drop from the default.Joe Lorenc Joe Lorenc
August 21, 200520 yr I've been looking forward to this. I have the KSFO airport and FPS are great. And George's KBOS still amazes me with its FPS, so I'm hoping this one will ok too. Looks like it will. And I hope it's successful and George makes a buck or 2--KBOS could have been payware but a lot of us are enjoying it for free. billg
August 21, 200520 yr good news, no offense to Midway fans but there are so many big airports to do still! Off to purchase it now
August 21, 200520 yr Did you notice interesting thing? This Seattle's download is 33Mb, much larger San Francisco airport was only 19MB, so the size of those downloads go up even though the size of the airoprt actually goes down. It must be the extra detail, what else?Michael J. Michael J.

August 21, 200520 yr Sounds like it will be another winner for Fly Tampa. Their web site must be taking a hit, cause I can not get to the site.I will be purchasing this scenery soon. Im actually stating to fall behind I still have to buy Midway too. :-lol
August 21, 200520 yr I agree with the above posts. On my system the scenery looks great, and whatever problems they had with texture shimmering on KSFO and some of the other sceneries seems to have been fixed here. And I also see no noticeable frame rate hit, though I am not measuring it. This is definitely worth $20. I am a real pilot and I would say that with this quality of scenery, we are finally (IMHO) getting to the point where I can almost believe I am really there. Try a dusk departure from KSEA with this scenery and UT USA and some decent AI traffic, and you will be impressed.DamonAMD64 3800+ 1.0GB RAMWinXPGF 6600GT 128mb
August 21, 200520 yr "Is the X64, the XP 64 OS?"Yes it is. Runs great so far, only thing that will not run is the RealityXP Garmins (because the Garmin Trainer is 16bit). In some case, like FLY-Seattle, the installer that writes to the scenery.cfg file also doesn't work - buts thats minor to me.Joe Lorenc Joe Lorenc
August 21, 200520 yr Copy and pasted from my VA Forum, but this is what I think. "Just installed it and if I did not have to go to work tommorow I would be up all night doing circuits. It is the best Scenery I have ever bought. It has little men with Table Tennis bats on each stand, it has traffic, the night lighting is awesome, in the day it really does look like an aiport. When you fly abeam it from the air it looks soooo realistic. If this it what the rest of their scenery is like I am going to buy them all. Gonna add it to my top Add-ons. I really am trying not to big this up, but it knocks spots of off OSS Gatwick etc and no real drop in frames. "
August 22, 200520 yr Yes, have to be quick here but I just bought it and wow. FANTASTIC AND GREAT FRAME RATES TOO. BUT THEN THAT'S WHAT I LIKE ABOUT FLY TAMPA. FPS ARE AWESOME.REGARDS,
August 22, 200520 yr awesome scenery, took off from it tonight. Hopefully someone will come out with an afcad to add more parking, but a five star add-on for sure. Only trouble I had was flying over the airport it was slow in loading the ground textures.
August 22, 200520 yr I must agree - of all the payware sceneries I've purchased - all of Simflyers, Imagine and even the other Fly Tampa's, this is the best yet. It's amazing how detailed it is and hardly any frame rate hits. I was wondering how they did this.W Brown Wilbert

As for the AFCAD needing more parking? What are you looking for exactly? Overflow? George and I spent a lot of time on tweaking this thing to be accurate.http://www.kthxdone.com/images/kw_ft.jpgKen Weik [link:maam.org|MAAM-SIM][link:library.avsim.net/search.php?CatID=root&SearchTerm=kenneth+weik&Sort=Added&ScanMode=0&Go=Change+View]My AFCADs
