hi all

 

i have been running p3d v2.5 in full screen, so the sim take up the entire sceen for over a year.

 

this weekend when the sim loaded in full screen it just glitched and went in to a small screen in the middle of my monitor, i clicked the expand tap at the top right, i get full screen but im stuck with the taskbar at the bottom of the screen, i have tried alt+enter but i cant get true full screen???

 

any ideas ?

There is no true full screen in the simulator. It's a pseudo-full screen.

What do you mean you cannot get true full screen? Is the menu showing and/or the status bar at bottom?

 

Check in P3D options/display - see if the "auto-fill mainscreen" option is checked and "black out desktop" is unchecked.

Is that a change from v3?

No change. I'm not at my system but there are two options - Black out desktop and the second one - IIRC it says autofill. Just checking in case the OP somehow reset these.

 

 

Jim - did you have a point or just like to play with icons?

Bear with me, because I'm a tad slow, but how do I get a "borderless windowed view" on P3D? I still have the windows task bar at the bottom.

EDIT: Fixed on my own after some tinkering. Didn't alt+enter
