December 5, 201510 yr Hi everyone ... Just an observation really .... I'm a little surprised to see Active Sky Next still in Beta for version 3 of Prepar3D ... almost two months on since it's release ... Dragging their heels or does it have an issue I wonder? Paul
December 5, 201510 yr Maybe they are waiting v3.1? That's what I would do actually  Roland MSFS my local airport release: LFOR Chartres-Metropole MSFS Plugins RAAS (registered FSUIPC7 required) MSFS FX for Objects & Landmark in France (Steam and smoke) and Aerial coverage for French nuclear sites
December 5, 201510 yr The Beta works perfectly, maybe they are into " If it ain't broke, don't fix it" mode.
December 5, 201510 yr Moderator Don't let the word BETA confuse you. It works just fine. It's the way HiFi releases updates. They could take the "beta" off the current version and one wouldn't know the difference. Vic RIG#1 - I9 14900K MSI Pro z790 RTX 5070Ti 40" 4K Monitor 3840x2160
December 5, 201510 yr Well that's it, with P3D always in development and moving forward, ASN will always be in Beta to insure best results moving forward. As Vic said you wont know the difference
December 5, 201510 yr I can't remember it ever was out of beta with any version P3D. It's working perfectly fine here. What difference would it make if it was out of beta...? They would have to redo it for 3.1 anyway. I simply don't pay attention to whatever they call it. They certainly are NOT dragging their heels because if there is one dev that releases updates etc. regularly, it's HiFi! They are an example for other devs that actually did 'forget' to put the word beta in their so called finished software.
December 5, 201510 yr I'm a little surprised to see Active Sky Next still in Beta for version 3 of Prepar3D ... almost two months on since it's release ... Remember, that would be Service Pack 4 Open Beta. It's pretty much in constant development. And that's a good thing. Clayton Scott Win10 Pro x64v2004 -256GB M.2 600p | Prepar3D v5.0 hf2 -512GB M.2 960Pro | Storage -1TB 850 Pro Z270 XPower Titanium / i7-7700K @4.7GHz-H115i / 32GB Trident Z @3200MHz 14-14-14-34 GTX1070 Quicksilver (451.48) | 34W 2560x1080 | Crystal 460X-AX860i
