January 11, 201610 yr Maybe try a desktop search engine called 'everything' from www.voidtools.com It is far quicker than Window's built in search engine. As you start typing fsx.cfg, it will start giving locations. For me, this is an essential piece of free software. Yes, you can use the default search, but this is far quicker. January 11, 201610 yr After I did a recovery, I forgot to un-tick hidden files. Thanks A quick trick, so you dont have to tick and un-tick hidden files. Just press strart and type %APPDATA%. You will be in C:\Users\...\AppData\Roaming Cheers N.-
January 11, 201610 yr Neucoas is correct. the fastest way is to type the windows system variable in the Run window or in your address bar. Prepar3d, FSX and addons use these locations to store info: %localappdata% %appdata% %programdata% I have notepad pinned in my taskbar. Always handy to have it quickly accessible. You could then pin each .cfg file to the taskbar. Regards, Vital Vanbeginne
