January 23, 201610 yr Hello everyone. It seems that Microsoft is moving in lock, stock, and barrel with this whole windows 10 thing. I have dodged many bullets by hiding certain updates, to make sure I don't get it. I heard somewhere that the compatibility with windows 10 isn't as magical as with windows 7. SO I would like to know, if any of you P3D users are using windows 10, and if so, how is it different when simming on windows 7. Are all of your add-ons supported? Did you have any problems with the licenses you purchased? How was the transition? Will appreciate every little detail. Thank you all. January 24, 201610 yr I had an easy transition from 7 to 10. I did experience issues when trying to update to 10 verdion 1511. A couple of 32 bit programs were disabled after the update. Don't mean to hijack the thread, but has anyone else had issues here? It may be of some assistance to Damian, as the move to 10 may be the newest version. Regards, Graham Derreck CYMM
January 24, 201610 yr My initial upgrade from 7 to 10 worked well for the most part. But after having a few odd issues around programs (including some flight sim add on installers) that just would not launch...no errors reported, they just wouldn't execute, I decided to back up my files and do a clean "reset". I guess that is as close to a clean reinstall as you can get without doing a true reinstall. Anyway, after that Win 10 has been as stable a Windows OS as I've ever had. All my flight sim stuff is working well now Chris

January 24, 201610 yr To be honest I went straight into to Windows 10 with a completely new install of P3D V3, and it works a treat. I couldn't say that it is better than it would of been in Windows 7, because I also installed a new SSD. So it is difficult to verify from the previous standard. I did find that some programs I already had installed stopped working, like skype for example. J u l ia n D i a m a n d i s
January 24, 201610 yr I as well updated from Windows 7 to 10 with a new install of v3.1 without any problems. Regards Lamar Wright
February 8, 201610 yr Be careful. Windows 10 has something called Digital Rights Management (DRM) in it - or maybe not in it - anyway it's different to previous versions of Windows and it stops you running certain disks and I can't now use my PSS Concorde as it won't install. According to the PSS Support team it isn't fixable apart from rolling back to Windows 8. Does anyone know if the download version of the Concorde works OK withy Windows 10 please?
