Its really sad they are going with DX11, and that's only because of the Windows 7 users.

 

You know, back when Windows 7 was released it was the same for XP users. DirectX 11 was the new kid on the block, but tons of people were still using Windows XP and DirectX 9.  Windows 7 like Windows 10 was kind of a slow adoption, especially among businesses, but eventually it was well liked.

The differences here are that the Win 10 upgrade is free, and so far, the reviews for Win 10 have been mostly positive, so I think the migration to Win 10 will be faster than it was to win7 or 8 from WinXP/Vista.
