My Impression of the Level 767

>"Actually, I think it DOES get "better than that." Have you>tried the PMDG 747? You know, the one that beat out LDS for>the best of Avsim Bravo Zulu award?">>:-lol >>Gary, you need to try out the latest version of LDS's work. >It's a shame the LDS offering has taken a back seat to a>product that still needs work... :-roll>>The bright side of this rather dismal observation is every>other website, group, org, etc of the FS Community recongnizes>the obvious in these two offerings (not saying the PMDG 744>isn't good but compared to LDS, .........). Dillon,There are two differences. First one is a 767 and the other is a 747. The second is that you cannot get satisfactory performance on YOUR system and have made that a campaign. The problem is that your comments always result in a flame war and threads being closed. My conclusion is that your personal agenda trumps courtesy as you are unencumbered by how your comments choke the very discussion you claim to enjoy. As a long time member of these forums, I wish a few of you guys where told to take a hike and let the rest of talk about the products. Bob...

Dillon,Couldn't agree more. The LDS is complete, behaved and very satisfying to fly. On the other hand, the 'Queen' still needs a ton of work and although you can heap awards on anything, the proof in the puding is in the eating . . . and my copy isn't completely cooked yet.I think the 'Queen' has tons of potential, but it is an unfinished product and I for one, don't like to 'pay' to be a beta tester.Best to all, and lets hope PMDG gets their act together.Clayhttp://www.dreamfleet2000.com/gfx/images/F...ers/Dopke01.jpgClayton T. 'Bob,Not to start a flame war, however I have a current, state of the art system, which has NO problems with any other add on -- NONE. Every other aircraft which is payware that I have bought or been handed for beta testing works and performs as written. The 'Queen' doesn't, plain and simple. And, I'm not 'bashing' anyone, I just would like PMDG to fix the problem so I can enjoy their 50 dollar wonder. I really like the aircraft, but it is not finished and lots of people have problems with it on their machines -- now, if I perhaps, had an out of date puter, which didn't run half of what I buy, then I would understand, but I don't -- it's new, gets constant updates, and I have no beef's about FS running on this baby at all. And again, the ONLY aircraft I have problems with is the 'Queen'.I'm sure PMDG will find a fix, the question is how soon, and how long will the 'Queen' be a 'hanger Queen' for me before I can use what I paid for.Lastly, to compare the two aircraft, I believe the LDS wins hands down as it performs almost flawlessly all the time . . . whereas the 'Queen' has given me 3 successful flights out of an attempted 45 -- do the math of satisfaction.Only giving you MY opinion of what I have bought and fly.Best to all, Clayhttp://www.dreamfleet2000.com/gfx/images/F...ers/Dopke01.jpgClayton T. "...Actually, I think it DOES get "better than that." Have you tried the PMDG 747? You know, the one that beat out LDS for the best of Avsim Bravo Zulu award?........" Yes Gary...an award for an addon awaiting a patch!

You are such a goof, Hawk. Not to take anything away from PMDG - their product stands on its own merits - but that has to be the most ridiculous response I've seen. You can't stand it that people find the 767 an A-class product, can you? Why not share with people your real motivations for soiling these threads w/ your anti-Level D effluent and senseless tripe?

>but I never would have purchased it if I had>to buy the complete package all at once. >> >>>exactly my quandry now - I REALLY wish PMDG had found a way to split the package up for download purchasing. No doubt about it Gary. "Hawkman" has been on a personal mission against Level D for a long time now. EVERYONE should take ANY of his comments with a "grain of salt"

Wow!!! This Gary "Hawkman" has a real problem with Level-D lol... Ridiculous he is, 4 sure !

Best regards, Fritz ESSONO

Here is southern Ontario we grow mushrooms and have an abudance of seagulls. This is a parable.EDIT: Inappropriate. Another one like that will get your posting privelages removed.

Gary, thanks for posting those links. I had not read or been notified about the response to Eric back in December. Had I been notified or had read that response to Eric, I would have banned Mr. "Hawk" immediately. Eric is a personal frind of mine and we had a great time in San Diego last week at the convention - Eric has contributed more to this hobby than Mr. "Hawk" can ever imagine. I have now put Mr. "Hawk" on notice. If anyone sees a post from him that is anything less than positive, I want to know about it (hit the alert button at the bottom of the message). Thanks.

Hi Clay,I have similar problems with Eaglesoft

Bob Prince

What was wrong Tom? Was it the reference to seagulls? If so I am sorry. Won't happen again

All the best!
