Night Enviroment Impressive

Recommended Posts

Ok Chris thanks for the amazing support - much appreciated

YVW Rich, my pleasure :hi:

we will continue working on this; the last image will be considered the "before" shoot

from here, to get NE to where its intended color wise, switch Tess and HDR both to OFF and restart Sim,

on your next start NE will be very different than what you see now; it will present as intended with the right colors and balance!

snap a picture which will serve as your encore; while still in this session turn back HDR on and adjust to NE baseline colors,

after that turn on Tess and restart Sim for Tess to activate, and readjust to baseline again as much as possible,

Note: with HDR On only you can balance back to normal colors in 3.2;

while Tess is still not 100% converting colors as expected; it is being worked on by LM and expected to improve!

(the above setting should be applied after proper phisical monitor color calibration first!

I’ve said it many times; XP was our inspiration and totem pole for creating NE, i take this as a compliment! :hi:

Didn't know that! Very well done then!

The lightning is really amazing, that's one of the things that "caught" me from X-Plane 10. Replicating this over to FSX is an admirable achievement.

Hi,

I bought Night Environment Germany yesterday, but somehow I can't register to the NE forum. I never get the confirmation email to confirm my registration. Tried two different mail addresses. Does anybody know what is going on?

Btw, I get very nice performance but some long frames (stutters) in turns with the PMDG NGX.

Hi Chris,

yes, I always check the spam folder. Had the same problem registering to the Taxi2Gate forum. Some emails just don't seem to get through to German mail servers. Don't know what the problem is.

I just logged in successfully. Thanks! I'm very much looking forward to doing some nice night flying in the next days. I hope, I can get it a bit smoother because it looks absolutely gorgeous!

Thanks!

Just to be clear with installation and interface,

I also got the Germany NE edition and going to do a total PC reinstall.

Should i fiddle with files from FTX, UTX normally by myself or is it done automatic when i just have NE above everything else in the scenery.cfg ? Rick´s situation is a "not" normal one right ?

My installation order will be :

P3Dv3.2

FTX Global

UTX2.1 EU

FTX OPENLC EU

All FTX regions

NE Germany

scenerys

REX4SP6 (with patch when it comes)

Thanks

Chris,

I'm reading this topic with interest and I have two questions for now.

1. Any plans to release the entire NA Region (USA+Canada) in the future?

2. If I have UTX Lights installed, should I put NE layer on the top of UTX layer and if I should, I presume that UTX Lights will be de-activated where NE is in use, correct?

3. Do you, guys, have some sort of demo?

Thanks

Dmitriy

Yep, had 3.2 Client/Content installed last weekend, completed 2 flights, everything seems normal. Didn't install Scenery 3,2 and honestly don't have plans to do this unless something fundamentally new comes up from LM
