October 3, 200520 yr Commercial Member HiPSS website hasn't changed for almost a year. Anybody know if they are OK.Just looking forward to their 777, hopefully.RegardsGraeme
October 4, 200520 yr Graeme:I talked to Robert Kirkland at the AVSIM convention, he gave no sign that they were in trouble, though I have tried to E-mail them on several occassions recently, re: a failed download, and there has been no response. http://www.alaska.faa.gov/fai/Clipart/SmlAcft.gifAlex ChristoffN562ZBaltimore, MD PowerSpec G426 PC running Windows 11 Pro 64-bit OS, Intel Core i7 11700K @ 3.60GHz 30 °C, 4089MB NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4070 , ASUS TUF Z590-Plus Gaming motherboard, Samsung 870 EVO 2TB SSD, Samsung 750 EVO 500GB SSD, Acer Predator X34 34" curved monitor (external view), RealSim Gear G-1000 avionics suite, RealSim Gear GNS 450, Slavix Stay Level Custom Metal Panel, Honeycomb Alpha Yoke, Redbird Alloy THI, Saitek Combat Rudder Pedals.
October 4, 200520 yr Actually I like they way PSS do things. They are so silent you almost forget about them, then a very nice plane pops out before you know it. Remember the Concorde? While others shout about releases for 3 years or more and arrange competitions, polls and whatnot.I just have a feeling that the same thing will happen with the 777!
October 4, 200520 yr Last update to the site was 01 May 2005 with a pre-announcement of the 777.Hardly a year ago, more like 5 months.Of course the spring sale which was supposed to last only a few days is still ongoing :)
October 4, 200520 yr Commercial Member Thanks all.I got the date of 12 months in my head as when you click on the 'coming soon' section, all the work in progress shots are from Nov last year. I'm just keen to get in that 777 VC with my TrackIR!RegardsGraeme
October 4, 200520 yr Never had any problems with PSS, my first complex payware addon was there FS2000 777 and a nice one it was at that.
October 4, 200520 yr PSS is still alive and well, responding on the forums, working on the 777 and a few things bubbling away in the background.
October 5, 200520 yr Ian I agree 100%... FS2020 Alienware Aurora R11 10th Gen Intel Core i7 10700F - Windows 11 Home 32GB Ram NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4070 Ti Super OC 16GB - Pimax Crystal Light VR
October 5, 200520 yr I agree as well .... Airbus V2 would be very welcome! Quote from MS Flight Team Lead: "We’ve made some guesses"
October 5, 200520 yr A VFW 614 or FVII-3m would be too much to hope for I guess :) (hint hint to any developers out there looking for a project...).I wouldn't expect a new 320 series for FS2004. Maybe for the next installment with backwards compatibility, but no dedicated product.I doubt the market is really there (given that the current version is quite decent still).
October 5, 200520 yr Author I believe you are not correct there - I'd be willing to bet that at the very least the majority of us that bought the present Airbus offerings would JUMP at the chance to fly a modern Airbus at LDS or PMDG level.Unless the PSS busses are a commercial flop it's a guaranteed success - I personally would pay 'today's prices' for a full featured Airbus v2 or just a new one from a good developer/publisher.regards,Markhttp://i14.photobucket.com/albums/a319/markrey/lds1.jpgXPHomeSP2/FS9.1/3.2HT/1GIG/X700pro256 Regards, Mark
