October 6, 200520 yr I waited until it was out of beta, then downloaded the new patch when it was announced this morning. Install went fine, I thought, until I tried to fire up the program. Said there was an error of some kind. I posted a query in the ActiveSky forum before leaving for work, but still no answer. Bottom line: you might want to hold off on this one, at least until customer service comes online. Of course, your mileage may vary and no doubt everything went fine for the beta testers.
October 6, 200520 yr I installed it and it works great.Regards, ________________________________ Ken B. Jackson - KSAT Private Pilot - SEL San Antonio, Texas

Yes also to the low resolution settings IMHO. Attached below are a couple shots of both ASV and FE working together. :) Check it outRegardsTimhttp://forums.avsim.net/user_files/129056.jpghttp://forums.avsim.net/user_files/129057.jpghttp://forums.avsim.net/user_files/129058.jpghttp://forums.avsim.net/user_files/129059.jpg Tim FuchsManaging PartnerREX SIMULATIONS website: www.rexsimulations.comsupport: www.rexaxis.com

October 6, 200520 yr >Tim>>Good grief - are you sure those are FS shots???!!!!!>>Just for a moment then I was fooled. >>Amazing.>>IanPeople that don't have ASV and FE yet ( yes there probably a few of those people out there, still) are always amazed when they see a screen shot of what their flying experience in FS9 could look like compared to the standard weather in FS9.... Their first reaction is usually ," that can't be a screen shot of MSFS, you must have taken that picture out the window of a real aircraft"...
October 6, 200520 yr BobWell I've got both products so I know from experience how good they are. It's just that when I first saw those in-cockpit views above it was a real double take moment, that's for sure.. Just shows how good FS can look, eh? :) Ian
October 6, 200520 yr Thanks for the replies! But how to put them working together, do you just leave the FE as is and install ASVE with its cloud sets?
