October 9, 200520 yr Greetings Fitz!Your question is not embarrassing at all, and your guess is correct. In English the addres would be written: 7 Christine Mohemann Street. Now I don't have the faintest idea who Christine Mohemann was, or what made her so important that a street was named after her, but anyway, both your guesses are correct: Christine is a womens first name, and in this case it is also part of the name of a street.Jeffery, in whatever spelling, originally is not a Dutch name, but during the last one or two decades it has become fairly familiar here.Be well!Jaap Verduijn (The Netherlands).
October 9, 200520 yr Hi Jeff!I'm not surprised. It really seems that this young Dutchman has found a new and quite enterprising way of inducing people to part with their registration keys. Well, let's all nip it in the bud then!Be well!Jaap Verduijn.
October 9, 200520 yr It's certainly not a common name.It does appear more often in the Surinam community, which happens to have a relatively high crime rate (yeah, I know it's politically incorrect to say so, most of them are black).Christine is a first name, the street is named for someone called Christine Mohemann. Who that is I don't know.
October 19, 200520 yr Just an update I ran across if anyone is unaware. Apparently PMDG identified the individual and as they put it, "He has been refered to our legal department". I noticed his site has been shut down. Wonder how many people he conned. John Fitzpatrick
October 19, 200520 yr A happy ending for the FS community then. I like those.-Jeremy BurchThe Ozark Dogfighter http://forums.avsim.net/images/wedge.gifHappy Flying!Pilot-The friction locks are causing the throttle levers to stick.Mechanic- Umm, that's what they're there for...
October 19, 200520 yr I thought it could have been misspelled, because there is a Christine Mohrmann who was a teacher in theology at the University of Nijmegenhttp://www.tertullian.org/articles/mohrmann_jerome_eng.htmhttp://www.dbnl.org/auteurs/auteur.php?id=mohr003Maybe Jeroen or Jaap could confirm if there is a Christine Mohrmann street in Ridderkerk?J.J.JJ StruyfBraine-L'AlleudBelgiumhttp://jdtllc.com/images/RCsupporter.jpg Jean-Jacques Struyf between EBBR and EBCI
