April 3, 201610 yr GForce 364.72 WHQL I installed the following set early this morning, and have been running all my flight sims under its output. The performance across all platforms, FS9, XPX,P3D v2.4 and FSX/DX10 Steve's Fixer has been stunning! I wanted to share with you the performance I am getting within P3D v2.4 with the sim maxed out in all graphics, and one of the most demanding ORBX placements, Friday Harbor. Here is a series of pics that tax your system at its most...not in the air, actually but at the airport. I am going to add to this post with shots as soon as I have done airborne sequences, but wanted to post the parking and taxi shots with the FPS showing that I am getting basically full locked down 33 (32.x-8) FPS in any of the frames, showing the details of the airport. The rendering with this set is so crisp and clear across all my sims....that I highly suggest, no matter what nVidia package you are comfortable with...you really need to avail yourself of trying this package out, and experiment within nVidia Inspector (I am using the latest edition) for different settings, even settings and combo's you have not previously tried, or have tried by in the past was beyond the driver suite to deliver. So without any more ado...here are my from parking-----taxi---to the active set, with FPS banging at the top of the lock down. Before this set...at this location, I be at around 18-22 FPS, before I could leave the airport and recover my full 33 FPS in the air. No longer...just look at that beautiful 32.9 I am getting while roaming around this beast of an airport! ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- The output, in resolution and clarity of the sim (P3D v2.4), is now stunning! The same for FSX/DX10 and XPX! You need to truly left-click each picture to bring it up to the full size...and appreciate the clarity, and object composition put out by this driver set, driving a GTX680 2GB video card! Post Edit: I should also mention that REX Direct 4 textures, and ASN for P3D is also in visual play.
April 3, 201610 yr Very nice pics! I too have been so far VERY impressed over the past week with these drivers in p3d 3.2. Rare to find what I consider good image quality as well as good performance in the same set. i7-13700KF, 32gb DDR4 3200, RTX 4080, Win 11, MSFS 2024
April 3, 201610 yr Author Very nice pics! I too have been so far VERY impressed over the past week with these drivers in p3d 3.2. Rare to find what I consider good image quality as well as good performance in the same set. This has totally been my experience Dave, so which prompted me to take the time to post this thread with screen captures! To say that I am sold on this driver suite, would be an understatement. No more pause/stutter as well. The last three or four sets caused all kinds of problems. They're------------------------------GONE! Cheers, Mitch
April 6, 201610 yr Interesting, I've got a GTX560 2Gb, don't know if I'll have a performance gain but i'm tempted to give it a try. Nice shots btw.
April 6, 201610 yr Hi Captains! Topping the fps is not the problem, even with my driver from July 2015. BUT is a question of a few seconds, before I get OOMs   Here are two shots before the OOM As long as this problem is not solved ( and it was much better with V3.1 ) the best driver will not convince me. Just my two cents. No harm meant. Scott
