I see that's runway 01R.

What was your IAF? How did you get from the IAF to the ILS? You see where my question is heading, right? Did you vector yourself? Flew online with ATC?

And great pictures by the way!

Looks like NTSB and FAA are investigating why he headed with a bit too much freedom from the IAF to the ILS :hi::P
Ah wait, without ATC, from TERBY, you can possibly follow the LOST COMM plate (11-3 and 11-3A) just in case, heading 223° after TEB and then right turn 005° after 8.2 DME from TEB..
Or maybe he just followed an RNP arrival followed by a RNP 01R approach... (12-20 plates)... But... can you prove your ANP actually met the published RNP ?
Still investigating

hahahaha :)

Have a look here, I recently flew this approach online on IVAO during my flight LSGG-ESSA and briefed this "route discontinuity" from the IAF to the ILS

Thanks a lot guys!

That's been an approach into ESSA's RWY19R. It's been an online flight, but without ATC coverage.

The STAR led directly to the FAF, so I could fly with LNAV and VNAV all the way until LOC and G/S were intercept.
