Recommended Posts

No problem Rich but this one was pushed by ORBX ;-) No manual download just via FTX central and there update routine.

You could ask at the FTX forum but it seems to working fine here local but not tested extensively...

Thanks Buddy - been searching but nothing official there - have to look some more but it sounds like its not an issues - thinking its fine and doesnt need to be updated

Hi, Rich, if you start P3D now, it will give you the option to update the object flow. Then close and re-start the simulator.

Cheers, Ed

hey guys, I've read that Aerosoft airports such as Anchorage X had issues in P3D with regards to the runway lights. I'm using 3.3.5 and PANC it's working great including the runway lights. Is it because of the hotfix LM released ?  This is the first time I'm trying this scenery in P3D, so sorry if it used to work before v3.

cheers

Hi all, kinda out of the loop since I gave up flying for a while after multiple problems in 3.2.

Considering getting back into it now. Can anyone tell me if I should update all 3 installers to 3.3.5 or would client only do? Also apart from objectflow is there anything else that needs to be updated to work correctly? ASN and REX?

Thanks in advance.

Regards,

You should install Client and Content. Scenery is not that important, unless you see something useful to you in the "What's new" section on the Learning Center of P3D. Content is good to update, as some addons could be broken if not installed (FSDT, for example, and others with menus inside P3D).

Thanks. Will probably update everything in that case.

Edit : Scratch that. I just remembered I would have to reinstall all addon scenery if I did that. The only scenery change is some fix for those with 32 bit Windows isn't it?

This what the release notes say. But it is not required to re-install all your addon sceneries. Those remain untouched even if you update scenery. Just make a copy of scenery.cfg - just in case...

If you use texture addons such as FTX Global or GEP3D, those must be re-installed as the update will obviously overwrite the texture files.

If you just update client and content, you only need to re-install REX textures and 3rd party autogen files.

Chris

Yes I meant FTX global. I will skip the scenery update for now.

Is the latest version of Prepar3D 3.3.5.17625?

is 3.3.5 a full version or just a hotfix of version 3.3.3? I'm confused.
