July 19, 20169 yr Oh, a P-38 fly-in at a conspirative airfield*! I love this series of pictures. Which model of the P-38 do you use, HLJames? It was one of my favourite planes in recent times. I began with Bernd Drefahls model for FS98 and later used David Copley's series of P-38s * I remember maps in the former GDR, where military installations (as army airports) weren't displayed. We saw the planes and helicopters but didn't exactly know where they came from. Later then we learned that instead of fields and woods there was a Soviet airfield instead. Same here - this is what a well known map server shows at the place of Andras Field: https://www.google.de/maps/@47.6497373,10.7581067,3428m/data=!3m1!1e3  Harald Geyer Gründer der Messerschmitt Freunde Dresden v.
