August 9, 201610 yr Hello Enrique, love your shots. I have a slightly different setup and only use P3D (only reason => Active Sky Next and ability to use PSXAloft II). Frankly speaking, I gave up on a plan to buy additional planes for the time being, as PSX gives me more than enough (it is both rewarding and challenging). I tend to engage autopilot near TOC and disengage it around FL200, hand flying is such a joy.Cheers,Andrej Andrej Lippay

As you, I've stopped buying add-on a/c since getting PSX. Honestly I didn't want to purchase a second time the P3D version of PMDG's 777, and frankly the 744 is so much fun that I feel PSX fulfills my thirst for Heavies! I still buy scenery for P3D, but only destinations for PSX (I do have ORBX Global, Vector and OpenLC for worldwide scenery). Lately I've realized how much I miss having Live Winds Aloft data without having to use AS16+PSXAloft... I'm doing some research on my (very sparse) free time on how to parse GRIB data (the same in use by PFPX) and maybe I'll build my own tool for injecting Winds into stand-alone PSX. If that ever becomes something more than idea, I'll release the news over at Aerowinx forum. Take care! -E Very nice! Thanks!!! Enrique Vaamonde
August 13, 201610 yr I had missed this great report! Thx for sharing Enrique! Learning to fly gliders since 1980Stopped using flightsims for good since early August 2026, after 34 yrs using some really great specimens... If I'm asked to name the preferred one, after all these years, MSFS 2024 is my answer without hesitation.(No desktop :-// after the last one crashed for good, so no simming, but I keep polling AVSIM - my main ludic activities spot since around 2006...)
