August 11, 20169 yr I have P3D v3.3.5 I want to get an airliner jet, something common but something that won't brake the bank and kill my frames. I'm leaning towards the QW 757 Any others? Even a good freeware jet wouldn't be to terrible, but I fly all payware small GA stuff, so I'm spoiled with what payware brings. I don't need PMDG, to expensive and it would kill my system I'm afraid. I have an old I7-930 o/c to 3.8GHz. 6GB RAM on mobo, GTX960 4GB any recommendations would be helpful. Ciao!
August 11, 20169 yr Majestic Q400 - I know it isn't a jet but it is fast and fully comprehensive. Its also the best in VR too How I Evaluate Third Party Sim Addon Developers Refined P3Dv5.0 HF2 Settings Part1 (has MaddogX) and older thread Part 2 (has PMDG 747)
August 11, 20169 yr Moderator I don't need PMDG, to expensive and it would kill my system I'm afraid. I have an old I7-930 o/c to 3.8GHz. 6GB RAM on mobo, GTX960 4GB. The PMDG 737 is pretty easy on FPS. I flew it for a year on WinXP 32, E8400 at 3.85, 2 GB ram and a GTS 250 1GB video card and got 25 to 30 FPS most of the time in FSX. Just because it says PMDG on it, doesn't necessarily mean bad FPS. This was in FSX though. Avsim Board of Directors | Avsim Forums Moderator
August 11, 20169 yr Author Do you mean this Airbus? http://www.aerosoft.com/cgi-local/us/iboshop.cgi?showd,,13112 Ciao!
August 12, 20169 yr That's it if you just want the A320/A321. If you want the A318/A319/A320/A321 then the correct bundle is: http://www.aerosoft.com/cgi-local/us/iboshop.cgi?showd,7476140920,D13235 The bundle I linked can be found on sale anywhere from $30-$40 every now and then. But even when it is not on sale, it is an incredible value.
August 12, 20169 yr I have really enjoyed the Airbus bundle (A318-321) also, very well modeled systems and a co-pilot to boot! Haven't had any issues performance wise either; stable operation and consistent frames. Tons of repaints available also. As mentioned above, it's an absolute steal if you can get the package on sale.
