Recommended Posts

Seems like i need to get this PTA afterall. We are proberly not going to get an update on P3DV3.3.5 anyway.

Any performance issues or loss?

Easy recovery interface?

I'm a photographer I get HDR- but that's not how my eyes work - oh well I've made a compromise on the brightness

No HDR for me. When painting virtual aircraft you need accurate color and with HDR colors are skewed and far from what you intend.

PTA is interesting and fun to play with though.

Actually our eyes do work this way, that's what the iris does ;) But I get what you're saying, our eyes/brain are obviously a far better system than a PC monitor. I personally prefer to match what I see outside on a bright sunny day. Non-HDR is like looking at everything through some very dark sunglasses.

Matching a sunny day is a dream where I live haha...  maybe that's why I'm used to dark and dreary...  I commonly fly in overcast skies up here in DLH.

Oh well to each his own!

But even with the raleigh scattering, the whole sim looks a bit too blue.

Blue is what it looks like in RW, I believe. I constantly try to get it blueish but cannot manage. Oh well... We all chase that perfect look.
