February 7, 20179 yr Took my new A2A Skyhawk from my hometown airport in Enid, Oklahoma (Woodring Regional Airport, KWDG) to Stillwater, OK (Stillwater Regional, KSWO), where I go to school at. The short hop let me figure out how to work this plane, especially its autopilot. KWDG scenery is stock FSX where as KSWO scenery is from ORBX NA Airports Freeware. On the ramp. February 7, 20179 yr Great shots, David. The little Skylane is my go to aircraft for taking vacations in places I would move to if money was of no concern. R. February 7, 20179 yr I used to commute between Enid and OSU as well, David. Miss the Oklahoma plains. Have you considered adding a GTN 750 to your instrument panel? Makes my 182 flights much more enjoyable! JOHN
February 8, 20179 yr Author Thank you all. I used to commute between Enid and OSU as well, David. Miss the Oklahoma plains. Have you considered adding a GTN 750 to your instrument panel? Makes my 182 flights much more enjoyable! JOHN I've considered it but it might do a number with the performance on my laptop (the main reason I tend to stray away from the glass cockpits of Carenado/Alabeo planes). When I am able to build a nice desktop I might pick it up, I do like a lot of its features. Its a miracle that any aircraft handled by me is able to be used again. My Modest Rig (Laptop is a must, need to be mobile for college): MSI GE60 Apache/ Intel I7-4710HQ @ 2.5 GHz/ 8GM Ram/ Nvidia GTX 850M/1TB HDD/ 125 GB SSD.
