Guys, I'm scratching my head. I installed BEV Summer that I bought today and then remembered I wanted to install MegaScenery Pacific West and Atlantic packages. Do you think they will get along fine in summer? Or will MegaScenery just come ontop of BEV and cover coat it? Thanks.

Yes, Megascenery works fine with it. BEV just replaces textures, it isn't a layer of scenery itself, so there will be absolutely no conflict.I have BEV, Megascenery (all except the Mid Atlantic), Ultimate Terrain and Flight Environment all installed and they all work well together.

Btw, gotta try your settings to remove blurriness that I saved from these boards some time back, it's on my list. Thanks again. :) Did you change anything pertinent in the cfg since then?

I have the summer set and love them !If BEV can release the winter textures before spring I'll buy them and the fall set.Steve

>Aaaah. So are those buildings available somewhere freeware>then, you said?Yup, search "koorby" in the avsim file library.ricardo

Oh man, LOL, I change my CFG almost twice a week, constantly tweaking. One thing that I have learned is there there is NO such thing as a "universally stable tweak". I have a set of adjustments I use when flying photoreal scenery areas, and a set I use for flying high density traffic areas, a set i use for oceanic and IFR flights, etc. Even the photosceneries are different because different developers use different levels of realism. I.E. - if you have Megascenenery and Switzerland professioal, your settings for MS will NOT work for Swiss Pro -- they are too high, and swiss pro gets major blurries off of Megascenery's recommended settings. The same goes here for BEV. I believe somewhere someone posted recommended settings for getting the most out of BEV textures, and they work great, but when leaving the BEV area, say, entering a Megascenery area, those settings are not the best for Megascenery. My highest recommendation is simply to experiment, and choose what fits not only your scenery, but your system as well. The reason I say this is that the settings I posted back then for my particular system I guarentee will NOT look the same on systems of different performance specs. I forget where I posted those settings you referred to, but back then I did not take into account different systems handling different settings differently (my mistake as I am always learning from this LOL). We tested this on two PC's sitting next to each other. I had the SAME settings on both machines, and yet we had different issues on each machine. One had blurries, one had major framerate issues. Same settings, different hardware. The ONLY way to find the right settings for your sytem would be to familiarize yourself with the settings, as posted on the FS Insider web site (which is an official MSFS resource ran by Microsoft). This article discusses display sttings in the sim . . .http://fsinsider.com/articles/changingdisplay.htmThis one speaks of improvimg prformance via optimizing your system:http://fsinsider.com/articles/optimize_visuals.htmNow there WAS a FAQ on there about the CFG file under "Flight Simulator FAQ", but unfortunately they replaced it with new stuff about the upcoming FSX :-P But these other two articles should really help you undertsnad your settings in the best possible way and help you tweak to get the best out of all add-ons for your FS - including, of course, this BEV.

The term "Koorby" is not on AVSIM, but I know I have heard that name somewhere before. I think I may alrady have some of his stuff, but not from AVSIM. "Koorby" comes up with "No results found". Spelling error?

Search for "koorbygen". Hope this helps.Pat

LOL Slightly

Michal, I hardly don't post here but that is well enought.. I don't believe anymore on your ideas of what/how nice/buy or not Flight1 products because you are not objective/kind at all in your comments. You always talk against them, btw, what can an AS beta team member say of FE

>EDIT: I forgot to tell you something about speed... LoL.. you>are very funny! Do you want to compare FE Performance with>ASV6? Come on guys... So why don't you just go on and say something specific on the comparison? I'm interested, thanks.
