P3D v4 Crashes often at International Date Line

Featured Replies

My P3D v4 has been very stable so far- But out of the three or four crashes I have had it seems to occur as I'm crossing the international date line...Has anyone else experienced this? It does generate a ntdll.dll fault in the .exe. Any thoughts?

no thoughts, but I will test out a few flights across the IDL from YSSY to KLAX to YSSY and from Christmas Island to Hawaii to Guam to see if P3Dv4 crashes on me.

Yesterday afternoon (with time compression)  PMDG 747 from YSSY to KSFO (Qantas 73). It was a 'historical RW flight": Departure Saturday 08-Jul-2017 01:10PM AEST - Arrival Saturday 08-Jul-2017 09:15AM PDT. So P3D date/time has been set accordingly. No problems when crossing IDL.

first cross of the IDL from YSSY to KLAX went fine

No issues here. T7 from YSSY (FT) to KLAX (FSDT).

I was crossing the time line from a flight SYD - LAX with 64x simulation speed, no problem. Time was correct after that also.
