February 14, 200620 yr That was wonderful. My first airplane ride was in 1953 in the same American Airlines DC7. I went with my father and grandmother from Chicago Midway to Syracuse, NY, with a stop in Buffalo. They said I was crying when I had to get off the plane and they had to carry me out. Well, I guess I still haven't grown up ;-)I've been in 'love' ever since with flying. Thanks,Howard Howard Jetline Systems: Intel 8th Gen Core i7 8700K (4.8GHz Overclock); GTX 1080 Ti; LG Curved UltraWide 3440x1440 Monitor .
February 14, 200620 yr Brings back some memories man.I grew up in Columbus, and spent some hours watching those old birds take-off and land at Old Port Columbus; Even had a chance to get up in the old Terminal ATC tower a couple times with my father (a pilot back in those days).Back then, a kid would get all dressed up in his/her 'Sunday best' outfit when flying....and yea, the trips to the cockpit were treasured, as were the wings the stewardess used to pin on your suite jacket; I would wear them for weeks afterwards.Today, flying is allot more like riding a bus.
February 15, 200620 yr Author I'm using the standard windows media player 10. But, all I get is audio, no video. I have noticed this previously on a couple of other vids, but simply thought they were faulty. evidently, something is wrong with my playback...anyone have any ideas to help me out...thanks...Shermbtw, this problem does not exist everytime I bring up the media player...just selective vids...
