July 24, 20178 yr Hi guys. I have a doubt: The manual says on page 212 "Trottles—adjust to 1000 engine rpm until engine and cabin supercharger oil temperatures are up to the minimum." Every time i do that on the ground, the oil pressure is bellow the minimum by just a bit, and the oil warning light is on. Is that normal? or is it hurting the engines? Should i let them idle at 1000? or i should increase the rpm just until the light goes out? Thanks Juan Ramos

July 25, 20178 yr The lights on at 1000 RPM is normal and as long as there is oil pressure you are okay. Dan Downs KCRP
July 25, 20178 yr Usually the cold oil would give you much higher oil pressure, which drops as the oil warms as the viscosity is increasing. Since PMDG doesn't seem to simulate varying oil viscosity, you get low oil pressure. Regards. Matthias Hanel MilViz Beta Team

July 25, 20178 yr Realism is at max. Must have read over this, so I beg my pardon for any false input I made; I will do some cold and hot weather testing, and unless I find something different please feel free to ignore my post. Regards. Matthias Hanel MilViz Beta Team
