OH boy, everything was sweet last night tonight it's just not working... ill be posting this around a few forums relating to my add-ons I've not seen anyone have this problem, so if I can work it out and ill update with the solution.

 

 

I jumped in started fs2crew, and PMDG 777 and lights never come on. I then move outside all working.  When am in the cockpit and am looking out the window to 12 o'clock.

The lights cut off, I have made a video to show you hope you can see what I mean, First time using youtube.

 

Hopefully, someone can work out what is the problem.

Just turns lights on or off, It's only when in cockpit strange, annoying, hard to taxi when you can't see

@Nyxx just so you know I have no option to edit the top post something you should know more than me about. so a member for 8 years and you don't know how the forum works lol that's more embarrassing than having caps on when you start.

To  the op   does   it  happen  at all airports or  just  the  one  you  had  the issue?

Try  without  using  fs2crew  since i  doubt its  causing  it  though

It is a strange problem, it might be that airport Clipping the lights.

Also PMDG have updated the 777 a few times in the last month it might help if you have not already done so, probably more important if your using v4?

I am on 3.4, so not sure about v4, have you played with the DL settings. The PMDG update were to do with them. Current version 1.10.8414

 

It is only in the 777 or NGX PMDG

it is only at the gates or ramps once I get halfway down the taxiway lights come on then off again on runway, every airport does it all other aircraft are 100% fine.

 

does same with or without fs2crew and chase plane.

Let's move on then. I made a mistake, no need to be patronising towards me, could have just said I would appreciate it if you could remove caps. By the time I got your reply I could not edit it.

If your aircraft is the current version and you have this odd clipping try this forum for what might be better help. Someone from PMDG will hopefully give an insight.

Hi,

I had the same issue with a different aircraft. Looking out of the VC, some of the lights (nav, strobe) were only visible while taxiing on the ground, but disappeared when taking off - while at the same time being visible when I switched to an outside view.

Turned out it was a clipping issue. Setting the ClipMode=minimum in cameras.cfg for the VC camera solved it for me. But I am using EZDOK, not Chaseplane, so I don't know which camera definition is used by CP.
