P3D V4 green menu and not window

Featured Replies

Hi eveybody, i retake this post because my last question remain without answer.

instead of normal window for rc i have a green bar on the top with the same function but very orrible to see. ronzie ask me to rename a file in the modules folder, but there's not this file inside my modules folder.

can someone can help me?

Be sure you are using fsuipcv4 or v5, the first for 32 bit p3dv4 and the second for 64 bit p3d and are not using the fsuipc that came on the rc install.

If you are using the auxilliary application Showtext (from fsuipc site) where RC is running on the p3d pc but you are remotely viewing it that could be a problem.

In the main setup menu for fsuipc be sure you have multiline enabled on the first tab.

Another application might be forcing the use of that window strip.

Use this site for full or partial fsuipc installs. Read descriptions to find the correct version:

Unfortunately that is not the answer. I have the same problem and just cannot find a way to get rid of it.

I have FSUIPC 5 for P3Dv4 with multiline enabled and nothing else set and that green bar comes every time.

I have just got used to resizing it each time.

Intel i7 6700K @4.3. 32gb Gskill 3200 RAM. Z170x Gigabyte m/b. 28" LG HD monitor. Win 10 Home. 500g Samsung 960 as Windows home. 1 Gb Mushkin SSD for P3D. GTX 1080 8gb.

As far as I know the facility for the transparent window is not available at this time in P3Dv4

Peter Dowson was chasing LM about adding it back, probably better to ask Peter over at his FSuipc forum

That thread does not say how to actually enable the display box.
