August 25, 20178 yr Garmin sells NavData here for $49.99: https://buy.garmin.com/en-US/US/p/511382 Can this be used with Reality XP GNS 530W/430W v2? What about data from http://www.realnavdata.com/ ?
August 25, 20178 yr This is a good find! I don't know if this is possible but if any customer also has this subscription and is willing to try...
August 25, 20178 yr Author Just to clarify, I am happy to bring attention to availability of this NavData, but I can't try this as I don't have Reality XP GNS 530W/430W v2 and don't have this NavData. Hoping someone can confirm before I purchase.
September 30, 20178 yr Hmm... tempting. As for RealNav from the FAQ it states; The data from this site only updates your RealNav-compatible GPS.

November 14, 20178 yr Author So RealNavData.com probably isn't compatible.... What about Garmin's NavData here, anyone tried it? https://buy.garmin.com/en-US/US/p/511382

What about Garmin's NavData here, anyone tried it? https://buy.garmin.com/en-US/US/p/511382 Hi Folks, I'm looking - that seems odd as the NavData for the real Garmin GNS costs far more than that ??? Not much info on that page... For $50.00 - I'd upgrade the trainer software if it works... Maybe because it's a one shot deal and not a subscription ? My next question - would it work on both the GTN and GNS trainer ? Regards, Scott
November 14, 20178 yr Hi, it says: Recommended for Flight Stream users with Jeppesen NavData in their avionics I doubt this would work.
November 14, 20178 yr Hi Jean-Luc, Yeah - the Flight Stream is a unit that sets up a WiFi in your plane which connects to both your GNS and iPad - so you can enter flight plans into your GNS via the iPad instead of the clunky interface on the GNS... I'm not sure why it would need NavData.... Regards, Scott

March 2, 20188 yr ..so what do we do if we want to stay up to date, or should I assume that we are left with almost useless device (My data base is from 2009, mean approaching ILS at KSNA is 19R where it should be 20R) ??? Yair
