One important email from me to FSD did not reach them due to a unfortunate mishap on my side, in my rush and anger I didn't see the no-reply message in the middle of the reply and hit the reply button right away. I am very sorry for the wrong words that fell in my mouth because of this! Things would most likely turned out differently if they'd got that mail.Tim has now contacted me, and his attitude proves a true supportive spirit, he is doing the best he can to solve it. I don't know if it helps yet, but imho that is not important. Showing a nice attitude, like Tim does right now is what counts.I still stand by my words regarding the piracy accusation though. But also in this matter Tim is showing good spirit and has given me his sincere apologies on behalf of FSD.Just wanted to share, i think it's only fair ...Eagle

As far as I can see all previous postings containing anything critical of FSD have been removed. I smell Lawyer.

A FRIENDLY email often does wonders. Threats, flames, and insults have just the opposite effect.

I sent plenty of very friendly and cordial emails to FSD when the Avanti wouldn't install and I was accused of piracy and threatened with legal action. I also sent a cringingly begging and friendly email when they released the 337 as I desperately wanted it, and still do. The reply wasn't freindly. Or cordial. Or proffesional.

I removed the thread as it should have been much earlier. If this thread goes the same way, it too will be deleted. It has nothing to do with "lawyers"... It has all to do with common sense, which some folks around here don't seem to want to exercise too often.

Hi TomI've been reading all of these FSD threads as they come along. They certainly do become a bickering war between predictable members, but they've also provided a valuable service to me as a member of AVSIM.Had I not seen these threads I would have no idea that there was any difference of opinion (or fact) regarding FSD's customer service and software. When these threads pop up, I can read all the remarks and decide for myself whether to give FSD business or not.I appreciate all of the fine work you and the other mods do to keep this forum as an enjoyable place to visit and learn; however, deleting these FSD threads may actually be a disservice to your newer members who are not aware of this potential issue.May I suggest to let the folks argue in a civilized manner, delete the innappropriate posts, but keep the thread visible so others like me who do not have a dog in the hunt can read and make a buying decision for ourselves.Respectfully,Paul Dahlen
