November 8, 20178 yr I'm just making the move to P3DV4 from FSX. Can anyone advise or point me to any notes on ways to do minor airport scenery changes (changing Gate Names, Airlines, Size, Pushback etc.) for P3DV4 airports, or is it possible to transfer airport scenery from FSX to P3Dv4. Will ADE work with P3DV4? November 8, 20178 yr ADE works great, I use it all the time for 4.0/4.1. Just make sure you've got a recent version (I'm using v1.75, I think). For airport object placement, I typically use instant scenery 3. Sadly it's not v4 compatible, so I place in v3 - the resulting .bgls work fine in P3d v4. November 8, 20178 yr Author Thanks for the info, However if I update or get anew Airport BGL from the AVSIM library. Where do I place it in the P3DV4 folders and adjust the scenery priority. You help to this P3DV4 newbie is much appreciated . Does that mean that any airport I have populated with objectswith IS3 in P3Dv3 just can be copied to P3Dv4.1 and work there? Though I open the airport in ADE, selecting the P3D v4 mode, and then resave it. Not necessary - v3 airports work fine in v4 - but for the sake of two minutes work it seems better to have a true v4 airport.
