So, do I understand correctly that fsaerodata would not update orbx or third party airports? PC: AMD 9850X3D, RAM 64GB, Geforce GTX 5090 (32GB), MSFS 2020, MSFS 2024, Pimax Super 50PPD, Quest 3
November 15, 20178 yr I believe fsAerodata also has issues with FSCommander if you use that product, I think you'll see duplicates?? I don't have fsAerodata product but I'm about to purchase so I'll know more about how it'll impact FSCommander and/or existing 3rd party airports. I have EFB and PFPX so it's not a show stopper if it does cause issues with FSCommander, I just prefer FSCommander's more open approach and features. It does require a Navigraph subscription in addition to fsAerodata subscription. Cheers, Rob.

But, the vast majority of payware 3rd party airports are updated regularly, so their navaids and approaches are almost always up to date. So for these airports, fsaerodata will have no effect. On the other hand, the airports found in the ORBX regions are sometimes out of date with regard to navaids and approaches. These airports will benefit from fsaerodata.

Lorby's tool is a must if you want to use Fsaerodata correctly. Noteably , FSaerodata also plays well with Pro-Atc. - Harry 9800x3D (Strix x870e-E) - 64GB RAM (DDR5 6000, CL 30) - RTX 5090, 34'' 1440p OLED HDR - Windows 11 Pro (1TB M.2) - MSFS 2024 (MS Store, 4TB M.2).
