Can I use hardware on the F1-MD80? like Goflight or TR-1 avionics for turning the VOR OBS and heading knob etc?I like my CS 727. Except, it doesn't like my hardware OBS knob. It forces me to use the VC click spots with a mouse. Manny

Can't answer that question I'm afraid, but having picked the lass up at Fly!! a couple of weeks back I quite liked it, I only say quite liked it as I've really not had a proper chance to fly it yet, once I do I'll know how much I like it but it's looking good so far.

What ahout smoothness of the flihgt instruments in the 2D panels? Also, how many of the systems are NOT modelled? (Or another way to ask the sam question: are any of the switches on the overhead INOP or just painted on?)---Will

Well, I hope you guys are happy now. I finally bought my very first payware airliner tonight and it was this one. Previously the most complex aircraft I've flown is the Aeroworx King Air.The one problem I have so far is that my old eyes can't read the text on many of the switches. The procedure says set this switch to X and I can't see the difference between X, Y, or Z. Wish there were text tags.Wish me luck, I'm going to need it!Jim

Jim,If you have trouble with it, you can return and get a refund. I think in 30days? Check it.Even I got it today. I like it. Except.. I see my Vitrual memory go to 1.5Gigs. It has stayed there.. so it may not be a leak. it just consumes more memory.So...I am still checking it.Manny

The out of memory errors are really ticking me off and I've got 2 gigs of RAM! No other payware add-on, from Level D 767, PMDG 737/747, to the Dreamfleet 727 has ever given me this problem. It's very frustrating as I WANT to like this plane.

Hi Manny,There's an option in the F1 Super 80 to turn off all the additional 2D windows that are loaded and accessed with the training program (if my memory serves me right). While I don't think that the training panels work properly if not pre-loaded, it does release gobs of memory that is otherwise consumed.How's that IR coming on? :)Bruce.

Plane is in the hangar until this gets fixed. Flying the superb Lago MD80 with no problems. ricardo

Yeah.. let me figure out, how to do that.About IR. Yeah.. Its come to a stand still for now. But I have been reading and keeping myself in the groove so to speak so that I won't lose it too much.I'll have to take two weeks off and focus on it 100% and then finish it. All right.. If I don't select load all panels.. Then I get a consistent 850MB and no leaks.So far..the MD80 is looking great. I am beginning to like this aircraft more and more.Manny
