x64bit FSX

Featured Replies

Got the steam edition, running DX10. We all know it runs x32bit and posting to see is there an option to chnage it to x64bit?

Once it's x64 going to have less proplems and the game might able run better! if I'm right?

There already is one.. it's called Flight sim world or Prepar3d v4 :-)

Talking about for the based game of FSX, FSW and Prepar3d is allot newer game.

well it's based on the original fsx code, just fine tuned and more to modern standards which is what will happen when they start to convert original fsx again to 64 bit, tbh i don't see the point in it since it will break most of the addons anyways.

that's true, all the addon then have to be updated

Aka extra fee for the work, and most of the legacy addons are completely abandoned by devs.. but ya simple question why fsx to 64 bits while you just can go to p3d 64 bits with most of the popular addons already updated?

This has been discussed ad nauseam in these and other forums and from a technical standpoint, without source code,  is absurd. The 64bit version has just been released by Lockheed Martin and is called P3D V4.

Flight sim world is another "64 bit FSX".
