January 2, 20188 yr A happy new year to all of you! I celebrated the new one with a scenic flight along the Caucasus south slope from Batumi to Telavi in Georgia. My neighbour over night: The fancy coloured tower in Batumi: Batumi cityscape with the Lesser Caucasus behind: I decided to stop for breakfast in Tbilisi - the city's TV tower below: These were the times... when Armavia still existed and flew the Yak-42 (in other words: I have to update my AI traffic...) En route again: Now heading for Telavi: My destination: A GAZ/Volga car at the street, an abandoned military polygon in the background... this must be ex-USSR: The last look through the fence, Caucasus' main range in the background: I hope you will like these shots...
