Right. Been on those deals. The Lawyers get Millions and you get a $ 5.00 discount when buying 10 Intel products. :)

Yep, if the case goes to arbitration or to court and ruled in favor of the plaintiffs, it is the attorneys who actually win the $$$.

My computer: ABS Gladiator Gaming PC featuring an Intel 10700F CPU, EVGA CLC-240 AIO cooler (dead fans replaced with Noctua fans), Asus Tuf Gaming B460M Plus motherboard, 16GB DDR4-3000 RAM, 1 TB NVMe SSD, EVGA RTX3070 FTW3 video card, dead EVGA 750 watt power supply replaced with Antec 900 watt PSU.

I think they should try and get ahead of it by offering a $25 gift card to anyone purchasing a high end processor in the last 2 years. :ampun:

This thread just reminded me that I never received the $30 for my GTX 970.

I'll never buy another new GPU again. I'll get them used at a fraction of the cost.

That may make them cheaper, but you'll have no idea if they've been seriously overclocked for most of their running time.

You also could get lucky and buy from someone honest and get a barely used card at 1/2 the cost.

Of course, but it's always going to be a gamble.

Another very important point came up recently in a different topic here. For the foreseeable future you'll have no idea whether or not used GPUs have been run continuously (24/7), at max settings, for crypto currency mining.
