January 24, 20188 yr Could someone explain why all of the sudden when openlceurope get's installed after a few minutes the whole terrain is full off blurries, by deselecting it in scenery library everything is back to normal with vector base and vector global. No add on scenery airports, latest orbx libraries, orbx scenery's in correct order, no tweaked cfg. Orbx themselves can't answer, thread of this in their forum for a month, no answer-this is weird.Never had this problem, reinstalled windows ,reinstalled prp3dv4.1, nothing helps, could it be the new libraries?
January 24, 20188 yr maybe it's a windows update problem..i use win 10 and it does seem to cause issues when it's updated.have to have a look and see if any recent update has caused issues with p3d4.1. steve REX SKYFORCE 3D steve howlett
January 24, 20188 yr I haven't noticed any problem with OpenLC Europe...no blurries. But I haven't been flying much in Europe. I'll keep an eye out for that. P3D v4 likes a beefier system. What are your vid card specs, and cpu and mem? It sounds like the gfx are getting overloaded if you're getting terrain blurries. January 24, 20188 yr Try deletilng your Prepar3D.cfg and shaders, then run P3D and let it rebuild them. Simmerhead - Making the virtual skies unsafe since 1987!
February 4, 20188 yr I'm fly with FSX-SE and have the same problem with Germany North and South. Especially, flying over 200kts. I'm like you, tried everything as well to no avail. I reinstalled both regions, tinkered with cfg, - no joy. I have a I7 4800 box with GTX 970 NVidia card. I also have Northern and Southern California regions installed. They work well. If I find a solution, I will definitely let you know. David Russell Commercial Pilot Airplane Single Engine Land Instrument Airplane
February 5, 20188 yr I doubt very much that it's a problem with Open LC Europe per se; much more likely to be the overall combination allied to the settings you use. And particularly where Vector is concerned which on the whole I've been rather disappointed with (in FSX and P3D v3) particularly with its effect on performance. I really do wish I stayed with UTX in that respect rather than decide to go down the whole Orbx route. Cheers, Geoffrey Easton
